Luke 17:1-2 (NLT)

One day Jesus said to his disciples, “There will always be temptations to sin, but what sorrow awaits the person who does the tempting! It would be better to be thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around your neck than to cause one of these little ones to fall into sin

Think deeply in Celestial
How much search have you done in your heart?
Think deeply in Celestial

In one of our recent studies, we established the fact that there exists a reality of which the present world is just a fraction of it. This means that we are all in a race to ensure that we have a glorious eternity. Amen. Just as an athlete who is on a say 100 meter race experience some distractions, so also, we do have as we journey through the race of life. An athlete for example may be distracted when another athlete runs into his own lane. He can also be distracted from the noise from the crowd. These distraction will in one way or the other affects his performance. Amen. Likewise, in the race of life, there are distractions which can be referred to as stumbling blocks which we have to be mindful and be cautious of. Today’s lesson is however drawing our attention to these agents of distraction and what their fate looks like.

The text submitted categorically that great sorrow awaits those agents of distractions. First of all, are you not an agent of distraction in form of a stumbling block? Have you not consciously or unconsciously bring people down by seduction? Beloved, this is a time to think and repent. It is time to be agent that leads people to God. A tool that ensures that kingdom of hell is depopulated while the kingdom of God enlarges. May God help you to be a tool in God’s hand in Jesus’ Name for His kingdom in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
