The Father does His works as He pleases
The ways of His works and deeds are Mysterious
His power are manifest on the sea
The sun, the moon and the stars
Behold Him and trembled

After the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, God has in through diverse ways tried to reconcile man to Himself. It was not that God was doing ‘trial and error’ but only that the time was not right at the point in time for the final and total remission for the sin of man. Amen. All what happened to Christ has already been foretold concerning Him but was hidden from many. Our Lord Jesus Christ did not only come as the final remission for the sin of man but also to: (i) bring to end the power of death over us; (ii) give us a pattern for living; and (iii) serve as a strength when confronted with temptation, having tempted in all manner but was without sin among others. These were mysteries that were unknown to many. This was exactly the submission of Paul to the Corinthians:

1 Corinthians 2:8 (NLT):

But the rulers of this world have not understood it; if they had, they would not have crucified our glorious Lord

Our Lord Jesus Christ was indeed an embodiment of the mystery of God. Amen. What we can learn from this text is that we should endeavor to key into this mystery so that we can partake and share in all that Christ has brought as we become more of him daily. This will definitely qualify us to live as wonders to men in our generation. May God grant you this enablement in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
